The board of trustees is responsible for ensuring that the compliance requirements of both the Department for Education (DfE) and the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) are met.

This includes a collective accountability and responsibility for the trust and assuring itself that there is compliance with regulatory, contractual, and statutory requirements as set out in the Academies Trust Handbook

It also includes publishing key information about how the trust is organised and managed, so that all stakeholders can be assured of how decisions are taken to achieve: the vision of the trust; value for money; and exceptional outcomes for its students.
