Trust Chair visits MARK Education Trust Schools to hear directly from students

Published 13/02/2026

MARK Education Trust Chair, Clare Collins, visited all three academies this week to meet with students and learn more about their day‑to‑day experiences of school life.

During each visit, Clare spoke with student groups about the role of the Trust Board and her responsibilities as Chair, explaining how the board supports school improvement and ensures every student receives the best possible education.

The purpose of the discussions was to hear directly from students about what school feels like for them - what is working well, what could be improved, and what they believe would make the biggest difference to their overall experience.

Insights gathered from these conversations will help shape our future student surveys, ensuring that student voice continues to play an active role in trust‑wide decision making.
